Part 2 – Meet face-to-face with a member of the Walgreens Purchasing Team
• |
The New Vendor Appointments are only open to CPG manufacturers who are not current suppliers and have not previously presented their products to Walgreens, as determined by Walgreens. |
| • | Appointments will take place on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 from 12:15 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. Appointments will be 20 minutes in length. |
| • | The product information provided by manufacturers on their conference registration form will be used to determine which Walgreens individual they will meet with on Tuesday afternoon. |
| • | NACDS will arrange all appointments and will distribute schedules to manufacturers prior to their arrival in Lincolnshire. |
| • | Each member of the Walgreens Purchasing Team will be seated at their own table. Manufacturers will circulate among the tables for their appointment(s). |
| • | Manufacturers are encouraged to bring appropriate company and product information for demonstration purposes; however, it should not be more than you can hand carry or pull in a Pullman-type/carry-on rolling case. |
| • | Manufacturers should be prepared to leave a sample of their product with Walgreens. NACDS will provide labels to adhere to each product left behind. |
