
Mike Bloom is Senior Vice President-Merchandising for CVS Caremark Corporation, a Fortune 100 pharmacy retailer with more than 6,200 retail and specialty pharmacy stores in 43 states and the District of Columbia. CVS is the largest pharmacy retailer in America with sales in 2006 of $43.8 billion.
As the senior CVS executive with direct oversight for merchandising, Bloom is responsible for all aspects of CVS' merchandising strategy related to its front store (non-pharmaceutical) products. He oversees a broad range of multi-billion and multi-million dollar categories such as: healthcare, beauty, photo, consumables and general merchandise. He also has responsibility for the company's visual merchandising department.
Bloom has 27 years of retail experience and joined CVS in 1991. Since that time he has held a variety of positions related to merchandising and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2003. He reports to the President of CVS Pharmacy Retail, Larry Merlo. Previous to CVS, Bloom served as a manager\executive with the Virginia-based People's Drug Stores and the Florida division of Toronto-based Shopper's Drug Mart.

Duncan Mac Naughton
Duncan Mac Naughton is Executive Vice President, Merchandising and Marketing for SUPERVALU. Throughout his career, Duncan has built a comprehensive understanding of the grocery industry from both a manufacturer’s and a retailer’s perspective. He joined the SUPERVALU executive team in June 2006 as the company completed its acquisition of the premier properties of Albertsons, where he served as Executive Vice President of Merchandising. Prior to joining Albertsons in 2003, he spent six years in key leadership roles at HEB, with his last assignment as group Vice President of Grocery Procurement, Merchandising and Own Brands. Prior to HEB, he spent 13 years with Kraft Foods. At SUPERVALU, Duncan is currently leading the company’s business model transformation work to create Centers of Excellence in both Merchandising and Marketing. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a graduate of the CEO Perspectives Class at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Bryan Shirtliff
Bryan Shirtliff is the Senior Vice President, Category Management, of Rite Aid Corporation, and is responsible for managing five buying divisions, the Pricing department, and the Merchandising department. Bryan started his career with the American Stores Company, where he spent 13 years advancing through the ranks and gaining an in-depth knowledge of chain store business. He was a Category Manager of both consumables and hair care, Manager of Merchandising Services, and finally Senior Marketing Manager for Health and Beauty Care categories. He also worked for a time at Brunos in Birmingham, AL, where he was Vice President HBC and General Merchandise. Bryan came to Rite Aid in 1998 as the Director of Health Care, and was promoted in 2000 to Vice President, Seasonal and Hardlines. In 2003 he was promoted to Sr. Vice President, Category Management. Bryan earned his Bachelors of Science in Finance from the University of Montana. He lives in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Todd Vasos
Todd Vasos is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Longs Drug Stores, headquartered in Walnut Creek, CA. Longs Drugs is a $5 billion chain drug retailer founded in 1938 in the San Francisco Bay area. With approximately 500 stores in three states, Longs is one of the most recognized retail drug store chains on the West Coast and Hawaii. The Company also provides pharmacy benefit management (PBM) services and prescription drug plans for Medicare beneficiaries through its RxAmerica subsidiary. His responsibilities include marketing, merchandising, procurement, supply chain and advertising for the company. Todd was born in Chicago and raised in Wilmington, NC, graduating from Western Carolina University with a BA in Marketing. He began his career in the retail drug sector in 1983 with Eckerd Drug, where he was a regional division manager and a category manager. In 1992, he joined Phar-Mor, Inc., a deep discount drug retailer headquartered in Youngstown, OH, as Vice President, Marketing/Merchandising & Procurement. Among his primary responsibilities were strategic merchandising and procurement programs for general merchandise, health and beauty aids and grocery. Todd joined Longs as Senior Vice President of Marketing in December, 2001, and was promoted to his current position in March of 2005.
